■ Africa-USA Trade Expo and Presidential Economic Summit

■ Mission
The mission of the AFRICA-USA Trade Expo and Presidential Economic Summit
is to expand U.S. commercial relations with all African countries into virtually every economic sector.
In hosting a high-level industry trade show and economic forum,
AIF seeks to open markets
and liberalize trade to the benefit of businesses in both
the United States and Africa.
By creating such a forum, AIF will foster a greater understanding of governments' policies
and business practices.
As a natural consequence, a new level of public and private sector cooperation
will be achieved
and trade between Africa and the U.S. will increase.
These factors will combine to play a major role in the long-term economic futures of
all involved nations, while decreasing the poverty in Africa.
■ Objectives
• Create a rare opportunity for Africa to showcase its unique talents
and trading opportunities to American businesses.
• Highlight the business opportunity of investing in established, well-run African businesses.
• Positively influence economic, social and professional relations between the United States and Africa.
• Educate the American public about Africa's economic, cultural and social issues.
